L'auteur
It is for me the most delicate part of the site to speak about the author … My name is Fabrice COURDY. I am 37 years and I am French. Through this project, I would like to realize not only a dream but also share my passions, which are the journey, the photos and the words.
I have been thinking about this project for a long time. Its developed from dreams, sketches, plans in routes, memories in forecasts. I progressed little by little on this idea; visit our European neighbours with for vital lead, Europe, its constitution and its construction.
I do not want to use this project to impose my vision of things but rather the opposite. I would like to use the every day life to show men and women of Europe (and why not political and economical leaders) that there are other views there are other truths and many possibilities.
Who or what I am matters little in fact. I feel like a "man of the world", I belong to this planet which we must all share in good terms. If I can do something, to intervene, not only for my personal understanding, but also in a collective purpose, I would naturally be delighted.
My culture and my education rugbystiques might explain such behaviour, an individual for the benefit of the group. Rugby is a very good school of life! Our previous history and our social ranks are not important, but the effort we will put into realizing a common objective is what really counts. The imperfections of every individual are erased by the quality an efficient group. A team is never successful thanks to one person, it is thanks to the mixture, the fusion and the contributions of everyone.
I do not know whom I’m going to meet, what obstacles I’ll have to face, or what cultures or campaigns I will experience, but I run there!
I would like to finish this "presentation", to make well …by a quotation of Oscar WILDE; " the wisdom, it is to have big enough dreams not to lose sight of them when we pursue them. "
